How to get a lean hard body mass?

By: Caleb Lee

If you are one of those people who maybe called "skinny" here is some good news on how you can go from bony to brawny in your own muscle building routine. Muscle building does not require you live at the gym.

The key is to work smart. You do need a lot of discipline or you will remain skinny despite six months of the hardest muscle building routines on the planet.

Eating Habits. Our eating habits are one of the basic tools used in muscle building. After a grueling workout we might come home and reward ourselves with food we know we aren't supposed to eat. You must maintain a nutritious diet which provides the body protein for building new muscle, and less carbohydrates for less fat.

Avoiding fast foods, foods high on carbs, etc. is a good option if you want to start living healthy and add at least thirty pounds of muscle mass within five months of rigorous muscle building training. When you come to think of it, a part of the workout regimen is at the gym where you workout, and the other significant part lies in your daily routine regarding what you eat. Getting your body into a particular rhythm is also very important, not only should you try to eat healthy food; you should also try to eat that food on time.

If you fluctuate the time of your lunch and dinner every day, it might have adverse effects on the overall muscle building effort. If you manage to bring about a change in your eating habits, you will soon find a drastic change in your overall body shape and size. Avoiding oily food is also a great way of losing all that unwanted flab and you can actually get a leaner body with only twenty percent fat.

When you go about changing your diet make sure that the food that you take consists mostly of muscle building foods, as that is exactly where your body will get the raw material to build more and more muscle fibers.

Muscle building foods are rich in protein; meat, fish, cereals, etc. Steroids can be enticing but the side affects outweigh the benefits as they can lead to serious health problems, and even to fatality.

Discipline. This is the most criticial part of the workout routine in the quest for building muscle. Most of us are very gung ho in the beginning of our training program but, quickly lose focus and that is where the dream to build hard, muscle mass ends. Discipline must be first and foremost or you will not be able to properly execute your muscle building regimen effectively. Setting a clear path and staying focused on your objectives will make muscle building a lot easier. Staying on that path as your workout routine becomes harder will require disciplining yourself. A good diet, and being disciplined will go a long way in ensuring that you can gain at least forty pounds of muscle mass within six months.
